Quality, Safety, Preparedness and Collaboration: Local to global challenges and innovations - The first Fall Symposium of the McGill University Health Centre and the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University, Suzhou, Peoples Republic of China.
The symposium addresses medical safety and innovation through clinical care, research and teaching whilst providing the framework for discussing how best to use history’s lessons to benefit those facing traumatic experiences around the globe. Seventy years ago, Dr. Norman Bethune said: “I am going to China because that is where the need is the greatest.” Let us reflect on those words, as we examine the needs in Canada, China and the rest of the world today.
